Everyone needs to read this thread, not only the newbys. This person is trying to sabotage not only our beloved cpaptalk but our therapy as well. Everyone avoid this trolls information and advise. I have suspected lately that some of the advice from "guests" was actally hi/her posting, as the language and way of speaking was the same.

My guess would be that Calist is just plain a trouble maker. And his suggestion for CPAP patients to go to binary for accurate information is really just a method of "screwing things up" at binary as well. As has been said, binary is for sleep professionals, and while they are a civil, pleasant bunch patients aren't really "welcomed into the fold w/open arms". For those who opt to go there anyway, despite its being a forum for professionals, at least have the courtesy to "lurk" and "browse" rather than try to take part in "conversations".

Too bad putting someone on ignore does not stop their pm's.

This is true, plus it still won't prevent you from seeing their stuff when people you don't ignore quote them. I found this on other forums that sure -- you don't see their original post, but so many people use the quote feature, you end up seeing the ignored person's post anyway.

A baseball bat, a few heavy pillows, a bit of space, clear the area of children - and go for it.

And afterwards, as you relax and feel good about yourself, you still have a computer

I just hope the Newbies that come here don't get misled. Maybe we should get the moderators to add something to the beginner FAQ's warning them of this.
