Didn't get my APAP

It was my sleep doctor that told me that and also SMG (provider). I didn't sleep well at my original sleep study and so there wasn't much to go on. Then I did a home titration. They would need the results of another study and no guarantee I would qualify for one. I don't know if this is a recent Ontario govt ruling or not. The doctor would have written one in a minute but had to follow the rules.

I live in Burlington and took my sleep study at St. Joes in Hamilton and that's where the sleep dr. is. I was booked in March for a study in June and didn't get to see the dr. until the end of August! My husband's study is taking 3 months too, the end of Oct. Then he can't see the Dr. until the end of January.

Yes, I realize if I want an auto I'll have to purchase it myself. May do that online down the road. Does that mean if I buy from cpap.com that I only need the CPAP prescription for an APAP?

Yes, you can buy an auto online from cpap.com with a cpap prescription. I have done that a couple of times. They even honour an old cpap prescription. Mine is from 2002. There will not be any customs or duty charges because it is a medical item. Also, cpap.com ships via the Postal Service so there are no brokerage fees, as there would be with a Courier.

I am also in Ontario (London) and had the same waits you had. I put myself on a cancellation list and got my titration earlier.

One thing - if it is a Resmed 9 Autoset you want, cpap.com is not allowed (Resmed policy) to ship any Resmed items out of the US.

There are ways around that I think.

Yes, it is a ResMed S9 Auto that I would like to get. So is that right, they can't ship one to Canada?

Resmed forbids cross border shipping - and that is true for any country in the world, and any part of their equipment.
