It sounds as if the C-flex just works for you.
I have the same experience with EPR on my ResMed machine. Exhaling is so non-problematic that I sometimes wonder whether the machine is still blowing air. (It is, as confirmed by the vent, opening my mouth, etc.)
Some of us just have an easy time adapting.

Re: Exhale High Pressure
There's nothing wrong with your machine, you're just lucky enough not to have a problem and to have c-flex. It's a relatively new feature though, only available for a few years, so not all machines have it (it's also called EPR on some) and many people don't need it or wish to pay for extras.

Deano wrote:I've been going back reading posts on high pressures. Seams to me that people have exhale problems at high pressures that requires them to use different machines... I'm at setting of 18 cm on my machine and exhale is no different then sitting here watching TV. I do use the C-flex option. If this C-Flex feature works so good for exhale, why wouldn't this feature be on every machine?? or maybe there is something wrong with my machine..
I'm with you. I'm the one that can never breathe in the back seat of a car if the window is open - hated the air in my face. The other night I didn't think my BiPAP was blowing much air; I turned on the light and saw I was at I17,E14. I'm not sure what it will be set at when I see the sleep doctor this week (right now there are no parameters on the machine).
