please help me reformat my SD card for S9

Hi, I am traveling and had my S9 next to my Mac computer in my backpack. When I set up my S9 tonight, I got a message in the little window telling me I have an invalid card, and asking whether I want to erase the data. It looks like I can still use the machine to help me breathe tonight, but I would like to fix my card problem. My questions:

- Do you think it happened because I had my S9 next to my computer? Was something demagnetized?

- How do I reformat, if that is what's needed, and can I do it using my Mac?

I am barely, barely computer literate, so would need pretty basic directions, or advice about what kind of help to seek once I get home. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the SD card, make sure the little lock-unlock tab on the side is all the way into the unlocked position. Sometimes the tab is in-between the two positions.

the MAC is the problem...

Be sure the small lock-unlock switch is on Unlock, see pervious post.

Go to an friend with an Windows-PC and format the SD-Card. Use quickformat, be sure you are use the right fileformat, it must be FAT32. Give the volume this name: RESMED.
Be sure the card is absolutly empty, delete all files, also hiden files, if there some one.

MAC cannot do this, or better MAC do this in other ways.
