bump on nose

Post by Guest » Wed Oct 06, 2010 12:30 pm

Hello

Since using my Quattro mask for about 2 months now. It seems not only is the bridge of my nose red it seems I have
a bump on my nose that won't go away.

I started to use two bandaids one on top of the other so that my nose won't be red and maybe the bump would go away.

Anyone else have that problem with the nose. My pressure is 19 90% of the time and my mask is pretty tight?

Thanks

Several of us have discussed this on different threads. I first used a strip of thick moleskin to distribute the pressure at that point but I didn't see it as a long term solution. I went up one size which put the pressure point higher where my nose bridge was more indented. That was just last night and I was able to use the forehead adjustment to eliminate the pressure and keep a good seal around the eyes. However, I have to tighten the cheek area quite a bit because of the extra width which is a bit less comfortable. Someone else reported ruining a Quattro by trying to carve the frame down with a Dremmel. Let us know if you find a good solution as this seems to be a problem for certain face structures.
What!!? Wylie was trying to eat me.
