sleep lab 1 year anniversary

Post by montana user » Tue Oct 05, 2010 10:21 pm

This month marks the 1 year anniversary of our sleep lab. Every morning I hand the patient a survey on the following questions :Was it easy to make an appointment with us; Did the sleep technician make you feel comfortable during the study; did the sleep technician explain the procedure to you and what to expect; Was there anything that disturbed your sleep (such as noise) and then there is a spot for additional comments. I am very proud to say that I have received 100% positive marks, and some very nice words from the patients.

I have all of you to thank for this success! I read all the posts concerning bad nights/good nights at the sleep labs, your suggestions, issues, etc. and made sure I was not doing the same thing. I would compare my lab to the ones you would mention and make changes or continue the service I was providing based on your posts. I can not think of a better way to make sure your running a great sleep lab, then to compare notes with people from all around the world who have been to one! So THANK-YOU everyone!! Even though some of the comments had me steaming, I do appreciate the honesty and sharing your experience! I will continue to check back on this site and to continue making changes if needed, and look forward to another great year serving my community!

Well a very warm congratulations on your success!

Im sure anyone would be lucky to have a sleep study in your lab.. I wish I did!

I do recall, when I was trying to go to sleep, that the air conditioner was making some little creaking noise, Im sure nobody else heard it, but
it bugged the patooties out of me.. so thats great that you ask your little labbers about noise.. great idea!

sounds like you have a great staff too!

keep it up!
