Yes the rebreathing worries me too. Will pick up alarm in the morning

I do not wake up when the power goes out, so I have a power outage alarm which does wake me up. The Reliance alarm will flashes its 3 LEDs and makes an audible alarm. It has light setting so you can also use it as flashlight in the dark. Very nice gadget to add to your inventory of CPAP stuff. It plugs into the same receptable my APAP is plugged into; I test it weekly by pulling it out of the socket.

I agree, and something/ANYthing that makes this more comfortable....makes it easier for me to get the mask on, keep it on, and get some sleep.

Completely safe from electrocution because the plastic hose will not conduct electricity between your machine and you. I don't know whether a climate-control hose might be a different story, as I'm not sure whether they have wires running their entire length.

I don't know the answer to that, but it does seem like breathing through the safety valve and exhaust events might result in some CO2 buildup.
