Bad experience with SPO Pulseox 7500, can any one help?

Post by Fai » Fri Oct 01, 2010 9:02 pm

I bought a Pulseox 7500 couple years back and I had trouble to use it. My purpose of buying that device is to record oxygen level at night and I need to software to read the data from the device. When I purchased the device, it came with the device and a CD with a Vitabase software. I have 2 problems with the software

When I installed it with Windows XP (the only version they support) and connect the device to it, it had connection time out like error message. I thought the device had problem and sent it back to SPO's agent in LA for check, they told me it worked. So the problem is the compatibilty of Vitabase software with Windows XP.

Then I tried Windows Vista. I just won't even install on Vista because Vista is not a supported OS. Terrible. I don't have Windows 7 at home and I don't know if it will work!?

I asked for support and help from SPO, there is no response.

So I ended up leaving that device useless at home.

Any one who knows what software that will work to create case and download data from the Pulseox 7500?

Many thanks,

Fai
