S9 and standard hose

Other night I had to use an old standard hose for other reasons. I reset the S9 settings to standard hose. The last 2 nights my AHI fell from 1.2 to .5 and the pressure dropped by 1 cm? I also had a few leak issues, but feel a little better than usual. Has any one else compared results from little hose to big hose?

If your talking pure hydrodynamics, a small change in diameter can greatly change pressure drops and flow volumes. Of coarse no telling what resmed settings and sensing does to the number crunching.
