Philips Respironics System One REMstar Pro file format
Re: Philips Respironics System One REMstar Pro file format
Very nice. Can you explain your color codes?
Re: Philips Respironics System One REMstar Pro file format
Nice work. Have you uncovered the structure of properties-txt? I'm trying to merge two datasets from two different cards, and since each starts at 00001, the new overwrites the old. I figure I can move the new .001, .002, and .005 files to the old P0 dir and rewrite properties-txt to start recording after the last entry.cpapdork wrote:I've made a small web application that will let you visualize data on your .005 files.

No, haven't looked at it much. Onkor now simply uses dates as processed from within the files, so the series number doesn't matter much anymore. So unfortunately I don't know much about the properties.txt. If you find anything out, please post!Guest wrote:Nice work. Have you uncovered the structure of properties-txt? Re: Philips Respironics System One REMstar Pro file format
Hi, new reader to the cpaptalk.com forum. Found it doing a search for the software for my new System One machine. I was DX'd in 9/10 with both obstructive and central sleep apneas (lucky me) although OSA is prominent. Due to circumstances beyond my control, this is the first time I've gotten my own machine (was using an old RemStar Pro - not even the M-Series! Was a machine from 2002 a friend couldn't use). Naturally, being a techno-geek, I wanted to know what all the info was going to show on my machine. I was ticked to discover that, although it monitors the AHI, it's not anywhere that *I* can see it. Nor can I see how many arousals I had nor the type. THAT ticked me off - then I discover that if I want the software to read it, it's going to cost me $100. It gets better and better. Then I find this place. WONDERFUL thread. I used to program - back in the day of the C-64. Was into basic, then cobol, then C, then C+, C++, and a little bit of Fortran (or is some such order LOL). Then I became disabled and the meds I have to take squirrel up my brain worse than it already was to begin with and now when I try to write any code it gets all confusing. So while I can't do any of what you're talking about, it is really cool to follow what you're doing.
My machine is brand new but I'm going to be uploading my files to cpapdork's website because that'll really annoy me if I have to take my card in and they wipe it clean. Speaking of, should I just create a directory and download the files before I take my card in if I have to?
Anyway, thanks for a fantastic thread! Following it with interest.

Welcome to a new cpap user and to a fellow coder!Dojers wrote:My machine is brand new but I'm going to be uploading my files to cpapdork's website because that'll really annoy me if I have to take my card in and they wipe it clean. Yep, sounds like a good idea: before you hand your card to anyone else who thinks they can do whatever the like with it, make a backup. There's nothing special about the files, so just copying them on to your computer is perfect.

Re: Philips Respironics System One REMstar Pro file format
Always, Always, Always make a backup before giving your card to any DME, IF you track your data. Reason is their software defaults to erase the card after the download and you prob won't find one who knows how to change it.cpapdork wrote:good idea: before you hand your card to anyone else who thinks they can do whatever the like with it, make a backup.

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

I know this is an old discussion, but it was one of the first ones to pop up in the google results. for everyone looking for CPAP card reading software take a look at this freeware solution called Sleepy Head.

Yeah.......and you're a little behind the curve. JediMark has been a member of this forum since Fri Feb 18, 2011 and developed the software with the help from the members of this forum. Many of the members of the forum have been using it for a long time now.JayDubWill wrote:I know this is an old discussion, but it was one of the first ones to pop up in the google results. for everyone looking for CPAP card reading software take a look at this freeware solution called Sleepy Head.
