You don't. EDF Browser reads the edf files on the SD card.
Duh... sorry, I forgot all the data starts with the card.

Thanks.... was overly tired yesterday and wasn't thinking straight. Is there CRC file used in conjunction with the EDF file?

Yes, but only by Resscan. You can't make any change whatever to an EDF file and still have Resscan read it. I'm sure it's part of Resmed's data security program. Nobody has been able to figure out the algorithm used to generate the CRC, or at least has never admitted to it on this forum.

Does this mean that if I insert a 2 gig card it can't use it, or will it ultimately only write 1 gig of data even on a card larger than 1 gig.

I imagine it would be difficult to find a 1 gig card these days (just checked my hardware store, Newegg, and they have only 2 gig SD cards).
Scan back through this thread. BernieRay and I discussed how much data is actually put on the card which is about 100 mb.

I am not worried about the amount of data on the card, I am wanting to know if the S9 can recognize a card larger than 1 gig as that is apparently the size it ships with. Thanks.
