Sinus Problems with CPAP

That' where I'm headed.
Re: Sinus Problems with CPAP
Sinus issues:
- Most with sinus problems are helped by CPAP air.
- Many are helped by increased humidity: try increasing it, if it gets worse, try less.
- If you haven't done it yet, soak all your mask parts and hose in sudsy water for at least an hour to remove all residues of the manufacturing process. I am especially sensitive to soaps and a trip down that aisle in grocery stores is not something I willingly do. The scent- and dye-free soaps I use are usually close to the end of the aisle, so 1 deep breath and a quick dash get me the ones I need without having to breathe those residues in the air (if not, I find a store employee and get some help). You might have to try several different soaps to find one that doesn't provoke that response. My mask now soaks several hrs each night.
- Switch to a FFM. I use the Hybrid, comfort of pillows and oral cushion means no losing therapy air if I breathe thru my mouth.
