Stopped up ears and cpap

Post by WearyOne » Mon Aug 30, 2010 7:17 pm

Do you guys use your machine when your ears (or just one ear) are stopped up from a cold or allergies? Believe it or not, in the 3-1/2 years I've been on cpap I've never had this problem, but now I have PND, stopped up sinus, nose, and ears. It comes and goes, but right now my head fills like an over-inflated balloon! Can't take a decongestant because of HBP (and don't even know if that would help my ears at all anyway). Just don't want to end up popping something in my ear and have no idea if it would.

Thanks!

Have you played with your humidifier setting? Sometimes turning it down or off helps congestion a lot.
