How to get into programming mode? Resp AutoSV Advanced

Post by fireman38355 » Fri Aug 27, 2010 9:11 pm

How do I get into programming mode on my Respironics BiPap AutoSV Advanced?

I believe the technician at my DME has it set on standard BiPap mode instead of auto...... I just want to verify. He didn't have a clue about setting up this machine.... I had to help him with part of it! lol

Anyways, your help would be appreciated.... I think it's gonna be a long nite if this isn't set up properly..... The regular Cpap and Bi-pap made my central apneas worse, so I wanna make sure it's right.

Thanks all!

You can download or request a download link for the clinician manual for your machine here: http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htm This manual will give you the way into the clinician menu for setting your machine the way you need it.

Thanks for the reply, but the only instructions that I saw were for the M series, and didn't work on my machine. That's ok, I will find it Thanks, though!

Thanks!

My fingers are crossed, too! I am sitting up a little longer tonight until I am tired enough to go to sleep. Hopefully I will give it a shot in a few minutes....... Thanks for the encouragement.

thats a good idea to stay up a little later, did you get to practice with it today?

I dont know how the sv's work on exhale, but Im trying a bipap now, and its super easy to breath against..

Its almost like a kitten purring..

think of yourself as purring yourself to sleep tonight..

will look for your report in the morning!
