Sleep doctors

Post by fishgee » Tue Nov 01, 2005 4:43 pm

Hi
I'm new to the forum. I live in Houston. My original sleep doctor was Tom Speer. I can't find him now. Does anyone in Houston know if Dr. Speer is practicing and if so how to find him? Thanks

Hi, I can't help you as I live in Ohio, but you can call your local hospitals and see if he is on staff. Usually they can help. If the operators don't know, ask for the Medical Staff Office secretary. They will definitely know.

Another option covering the state would be the Board of Regulation and Licensing or the Medical Examiners Board. I checked the MEB for TX and no Dr. Tom Speer listed. Do you know what his specialty is, and if he was Board Certified? If so, the certification bodies often have databases online and you might find out where he is by checking that group's listing.

I'd try the cpap.com help line. They operate a sleep lab in the Houston area and should know about your Doc.
