Thank you so much for the replies. I am new to all of this, and you all are very kind to reply so thoroughly.
It sounds like I just need to give it a fair shot, and go from there. That was my plan of course, but it helps to hear it from others, to force me to follow through. I will definitely be reading the experiences of that user, "Spirit." I am dreading the perseverance this might take...only because I've had my heart "broken" from other fatigue solutions. But not trying is NOT an option. So I just need to keep going, no matter what it takes.
Please bear with me if I ask a million questions on the forum! Thanks again.
How disabling can apnea be? Anyone disabled by fatigue?

Symptoms: severe daytime sleepiness and fatigue/tiredness, oversleeping and hypersomnia, dark circles around eyes, sometimes brain fog.

I felt that way too before I got the machine - but with me it was migraines - lots of answers but nothing that really worked and didn't turn me into a zombie.CAsleep wrote:. .
But from the first it worked beautifully for me - no more headaches at noon (or at least not daily/weekly any more) no more falling asleep while trying to write code (nearly fell out of my chair once) and the change in emotional out look was the most amazing.

Re: How disabling can apnea be? Anyone disabled by fatigue?
Hi, CAsleep.
I experienced progressively worsening brain fog, short term memory loss, and constant irritability that easily exploded into rage. Co-workers would not come to me because I would really blow up in their faces over the littlest thing. I was not myself at all.
Last December I made so many mistakes in one week at work that 1/3 of my responsibilities were taken away from me. It was also suggested (by upper management) that I might consider looking outside of the company for a different job. That sent me over the edge, scared the heck out of me, and convinced me to get tested. Got my machine last April and after three months of 100% compliance I got my life back. Co workers and friends really noticed a positive change in me. Friends positive support, and reading this forum, has given me the mental push to stay with therapy. I'm almost back up to speed at work and home. I can laugh at life again and not get so stinking mad.
Like so many others here I echo the importance for you to keep working at your therapy. Your health is very much at stake Good luck

I feel that you could be this disabled b by sleep apnea. I was always so toired and could barely stay aake. then other times, I would push through a week and then get to the weekend and sleep it all away.
