Just wanted to know if anyone has headaches from CPap/BiPap. I have been having them for a while now. I get them during the night and of course they are they when I wake up in the morning. It feels like my head is full of air, but that could just be my imagination. Does anyone know anything about this.
Thanks, Sharron
Headaches
Re: Headaches
Sharron, are you monitoring your data to see if your treatment is still effective? Can you tell the duration of any residual apneas? Maybe using an overnite recording oxygen monitor would be a good idea. I'm thinking you wouldn't have a bipap unless your pressure is higher, but just in case it's not, make sure your pressure is above the minimum recommended for your mask. When you say it feels like you have a head full of air, are you saying like in your sinuses? Just wondering if something has changed in them that's causing air to get trapped. I'm just grasping at straws. Sure hope you find your answers.

Re: Headaches
I get them if i have bad leaks. they got better when i lowered my humidity
Re: Headaches
I just had a new titration. My pressure is 14/9. I started getting these headaches before the new titration (at least a year ago) and still have them. I don't think I have them every night. I think I have a pretty good seal on my mask. This is the best one I have tried so far. I keep my humidity level on "0". The headache is the whole front of my head and it is not sharp anywhere. It is just like my head is full and hurts. It's not my sinuses (I don't think). My numbers on the read-out on my machine are good. I don't have a card reader and probably won't ever get one.
