Astepro
For those using Astepro, do you spray it once a day or twice a day? One or two sprays per nostril? The prescribing information suggests it is not sedating. Has anyone found it to be sedating or is that really not an issue?

Re: Astepro
My wife uses Astepro....1 spray in each side twice a day. She has not noticed it to be sedating. (5'0"...115#)

Re: Astepro
I use Astepro and my allergist said I could use it either once or twice a day depending on the season. For me, my worst allergies hit between Jan and Apr here in FL..... our blooming season. But the rest of the time I am still fighting dust and mold allergies. I usually use it once a day; 1 spray per nostril. It is not sedating... I used to use steroid sprays but no matter which one I tried, I always got a lot of drying and bleeding from them. Astepro, while I hate the taste it leaves in my mouth, is a good choice for me as I don't get the bleeding.
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Re: Astepro
My ent gave it to me, because I said I did NOT want a steroid spray..
my pul. doc said for me to use it twice a day and double dose each time..
No sedating effects noticed.. but it burns my throat so badly I cant sing if I use it in the morning.

Astepro is "Son Of Astelin" - Astelin has been available for years. Astepro is 0.15% solution of azelastine and Astelin is a 0.10% solution. I've used Astelin almost since it came out without problems.SleepingUgly wrote:For those using Astepro, do you spray it once a day or twice a day? One or two sprays per nostril?
