I really like your set-up in the photos. Is this a computer bag? The pockets look really well laid-out for the machine and accessories.
It was a combo-bag for short trips. First side is for your computer and the second side is for a couple of shirts and underwear .It is a little deeper than the normal laptop bag. That dimension supplies sufficient condition for the cpap machine due to its thickness.
Inner separation pockets are individually prepared cases you can detach them from the bag, if needed. But in normal usage they are fixed to the bag by means of Velcro tapes.
I am a professional in construction industry. Now I am in Afghanistan two months before I was in Azerbaijan and 1 year before I was in IRAQ. So, I am travelling very often, I prepared this bag.
Regarding to my experiences, I would like to apprise something more related with travelling internationally with your cpap.
I) do not forget to carry a polyester bag in your cpap bag.
2) You will use it to put your cpap in before passing through x-ray machine at passport control point. In the x-ray machine take the cpap out of the bag and put it in polyester bag. You cannot be sure about the cleanliness of the x-ray machine
and most probably they want you to take the machine out to the carrying bag before passing x-ray machine.
3) Prepare a sticker for your bag. The sticker should contain a general explanation related with Cpap machines in general and it should be kept with you as a hand luggage in the plane. This may be helpful against some conceitedly officious employees in travel agency.
4) The medical devices are free to international circulation as being your personal belonging. But in some eastern countries you have to explain this rule to the officers at the border. So, carry the invoice and sickness certificate in your bag for this purpose. If you have a trip to this kind of country.

By taking these precautions I entered even to the LIBYA which has very rude border controls.

I hope it will be helpful for all.
God Bless.
Semreka, I thank you for your well laid out explanation of travelling with your CPAP and how you have taken steps to ensure the safety of your machine. I can fully appreciate how one must do this in light of customs officials in various countries. I am curious about the label on the front of your bag. It looks like a medical label and I am curious if this was something you created yourself on a computer or was it aquired.

The Pelican cases are also nice in that they provide a level of protection for your CPAP machine that just cannot be found elsewhere. Maybe a tad bulky but perfectly suited for protecting your machine. You guys have given me some good ideas and have certainly pointed me in the right direction to finding what I am looking for. Thanks to everyone for sharing your insight and advice.

Dear Bearcat42,
The label on the bag is prepared by myself.
I downloaded a sample from the internet site below.
http://www.cpap-al.com/shop/89-bagaj-et ... alcom.html
and I modified it .
I prepared it as two sided.
First side contains general explanation about the cpap (I made it bipap because on my device it is written " bipap auto ".)
the second side contains the serial number of the machine and my I.D. information as the owner of the machine.
I had it pvc-coated .(They apply this coating to I.D. Cards , driving Licenses etc. with transparent pvc sheets and a kind of heating machine ,I do not know the exact locution for this process , I hope ,I could clearly explain it.)
I attached the label to the bag by velcro tapes with sticker back .
I adhered the small velcro pieces to for corner of the label and and the sufficient location on the bag.
By doing this , it is easy for me to detach the label from the bag and show the back side which contains the personal information ,if they ask me about the machine.
As you know the velcro tapes consist of two part. One is soft and the other is prickly. I mounted the soft part to the bag.
Because in the case without the label , the prickly part my fray my trousers ..)
This kind of label can be considered as meaningless effort ....
But at the borders it is making my work easier...
I hope the sample will help you to prepare your label.

God Bless.........
