This is a very offensive topic. It has to do with conception, which has to do with S-E-X. So that no one has any MISconceptions about why we are all here, please take this to the OT Adult section of this forum (which, according to my calculations, will average 8683 times more views a day than the on-topic section).

Gestation is 40 weeks, babies born 37-41 weeks often are considered "normal" newborn in newborn nursery. Most under under 37 weeks gestation will end up in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit considered "early" or premature. Most won't be permitted to go past 41 weeks gestation due to complications with aspiration of meconium which can cause respiratory distress and in worse case situation death. So there is a margin of "error" in gestation for calculating purposes. If Thanksgiving and number of weeks of gestation is considered in the holiday theory, can get August babies!
