A recent post by another S9 user expressed disappointment in the SMILEY FACE on the color LCD screen of the S9. The user wanted a readout of the leak rate.
The threshold for the smiley face is 24 L/min, so anything larger than that becomes a frowning face. If you want the actual leak rate, and don't want to go into the Clinician's Menu, then use the advanced info display.
TO GET THE ADVANCED INFO DISPLAY: Hold the “i” and checkbox buttons down at the same time for at least three seconds and go into the sleep report. This was called the QuickView menu in the S8II line. The check box button is one of those thin chrome buttons on the right side of the screen. It has a picture of a check box on it, whereas the other chrome button one has an “i” on it.
Has this info been posted here before ?

Re: S9 Users: Get more sleep details on your LCD screen
Thanks for the info. New to the board, new to apnea, it was nice to see this. The tech said I'd be able to get this info, but the appointment got rushed and she didn't say how to get to it.Physician wrote:A recent post by another S9 user expressed disappointment in the SMILEY FACE on the color LCD screen of the S9. Now I just need to find the software.

Don't forget that you can scroll using the knob to see more numbers. Also, when in this view, the top line shows the time period for the numbers. Most likely it says "1 day", but if you push the knob, you can adjust this to 1 week, 1 month, etc. Then the average numbers for that period are displayed.
Finally, I don't think you get this information unless the "sleep quality" option is turned on.

Yep. I just came back to this thread when I realized that I omitted that the knob should be rotated to see additional data. Thanks for pointing that out.
Just found out I have a friend who works at ResMed. Maybe I'll bend his ear if there are issues discovered by Forum members here which need explanations or corrections.
