Anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask
Anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask
Does anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask. I am looking into a full face mask and was wondering how this one is working for the people that use it.
Re: Anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask
You may want to read the FullLife reviews at cpap.com: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... -pack.html. That's probably not much help I suppose, since some people love it and others hate it!
I tried the FullLife for two nights. I would say that I am in the latter category (close to hating it). It chewed the top of my nose up something terrible -- more so than any other mask I have tried. But it could have been that I didn't adjust the straps properly. You may want to search past forum posts (search both Full Life and FullLife), as I recall reading some reviews here in the past.

Re: Anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask
Hi, Hawk. I used the FullLife for awhile, last summer. Took me a long time to get to a point where the bridge of my nose was not terribly sore. I used moleskin on the mask seal for quite a few weeks to get there.Hawk256 wrote:Does anyone have experience with PR Full Life mask. I liked the FullLife because it had no forehead support and was generally a bit smaller than most typical FFMs. And I have to say I got great numbers with it. But I also experienced a lot of mouth-breathing (which I was trying to avoid), even though it has a strap that goes under the chin.
I stopped using it when I got the Hybrid, which has become my best mask.
If you search the forum for the FullLife, you'll find discussions about it. (There was quite a bit of buzz about it here when it was first released.) Or consider the Hybrid (if you haven't already), as it has a small imprint on the face (oral cushion and nasal pillows combo, so there's nothing going over the bridge of the nose). The chinflap (which is, IMO, its best feature) keeps my mouth closed. I get a great seal (even at high pressures), and the mask is very comfortable.
FYI, the ResMed Liberty is very similar to the Hybrid, but the Hybrid is superior in many ways, IMO. I've tried the Liberty, but the Hybrid works far better for me. As usual, we're all different, and some people love the Liberty. Different strokes.
Hope that helps.
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

I also have tried both Hybrid masks and, like BleepingBeauty, the InnoMed/RespCare Hybrid worked much better for me than the Liberty.BleepingBeauty wrote:FYI, the ResMed Liberty is very similar to the Hybrid, but the Hybrid is superior in many ways, IMO.
