humidifier water question

We are digressing from the topic. I understand nobody cares for a dollar here.
It's cumbersome - I have to take out the container from the apap machine. It sort of snugly snaps to one tube like vent onto the apap. The other end snaps to the tube which runs to
the nasal pillow. I am more worried about those tube like vents getting loosened. And if the one on the apap side does, I won't know what to do about it ?!
Moreover, I initiated this thread to know if its worthwhile to change water daily.
Folks - nobody is cheap or precious here. We are all here to communicate and learn from each others experiences.
