Oh yes! Pad A Cheek-- I'm looking forward to receiving mine shortly. You can see from the pictures how soft they look and the nice variety she has!!!

Well to tell you the truth, the leopard spotted ones were just because my eyes get tired of the boring solid colored ones.
I gotta have fun doing this.

OK, I gave the Padacheek straps a good two night try. I mean a *good* two night try. Night one, on an F&P nasal mask - comfy as could be, night 2 on a Swift.

First, I was impressed by the packaging, instructions, and quality of workmanship. The package includes a very nice wire U-shaped tool that is very helpful in threading a nasal cpap mask strap through the padacheek. The pads were very well made, even stitching and hems and two nifty little pull tabs, one on each end, to help with positioning the covers over the mask straps. The tool and pull tabs worked like a charm, and the padacheek cover fit perfectly. No strap marks or irritation, just the cushy-soft fleece against my skin. I'm sold.

Next night, ont he Swift - same results, although a little tougher to slide on. I could have used another 1/16" in width for easy slide-on, but managed to get the strap cover on without too much difficult and without over-stressing the cover. I would find it difficult to remove and replace weekly for cleaning, however - just a bit too snug for that and I wouldn't want to tear the seam. But I have to say that, once it was on, I really loved the way it felt. The Swift straps always felt a little prickly to me, but the Padacheek took care of that. I still had swoosh marks, though not as pronounced as before and not as red, which is the real issue, I think, meaning less irritation. On both masks the covers were easy to put in correct position (seam out) and they stayed put without wrinkling or rotating.

An unanticipated benefit was a big psychological boost. I was the fortunate recipient of a leopard print pattern (not the purple, thankfully- grin). I really got a kick out of the appearance of the masks with the strap covers. It seemed less clinical and more frivolous. And anything that can make this whole thing less clinical and almost, dare I say it, "fun" is worth way more than the cost of the Padacheek. My family all agreed that the leopard print made the mask setup much more cheery.

The best concluding statement I can offer is to point out that I will be purchasing another set as a spare! Thanks for the opportunity to try this product! Good work, PADACHEEK!

and thank you for all the nice things you have said and helpful comments about the new PAD A CHEEK. For those of you who have received them, I wish for you peaceful nights of cuddled sleep. And no marks, anywhere....

I have been in contact with Mr. Johnny Goodman, and am pleased to say he is supportive of this product as well. When the cpap.com store trials it the price will go up substantially. This is just a heads-up for those who may see the price on ebay go up to the same price selling on the cpap.com store. Make sure you get yours before the price rises!!!

I could not have gotten this exposure without all the good people here on this forum. For that I am forever grateful, and to Lori, who held my hand and encouraged me, as I timidly approached the idea of telling people about the PAD A CHEEK. She has headed up my PR department for the last couple weeks not to mention coordinating the Lab-Ratting on this site. She has helped in ways only those of you who know her can imagine. The Lord was very good to lead me to someone like her when I needed help.

I am pleased to be able to bring some comfort to those of us who have to have therapy at night in order to have a great daytime. (and to think I used to just go to sleep at night and never knew that someday sleeping peacefully all night would be such an issue for so many, including me).

Well just a real Hello out there to all who wondered just who is behind this new item. Someday you will get a picture of me without the mask strapped on my face. LOL

Another satisfied customer! The Pad-a-Cheek worked great on my Swift. Very well made and easy to put on. No marks the next day at all.
And yes, I have to admit they look sooooo much prettier than the toe bandages!

Yup- me too. I'll be up to three sets soon! Guess I'll have no excuse not to change them around. But I've got to like those leopard spotted ones!

Now if only there were variations for padaforehead, padanose, and padaear.... I think Karen's going to have to hire some help!

The PAD A CHEEK was originally designed for a 4 strap headgear. It should work just fine on the Ultra Mirage II, unless there is something very unusual about the headgear that I am not seeing in the pictures.
If it does not fit, you can get your money back, so order with confidence if you would like. I will do right by you.

Would that the mask manufacturers themselves and the cpap supply stores (both local and online) that sell masks were as concerned about "doing right".

P.S. In fairness, I should mention that some good local DMEs do let people keep trying new masks, even at home (!), until a suitable one is found. But there are also plenty of local DMEs that say "Open it, it's yours." One mask manufacturer (Aeiomed) and one online store (cpapsuperstore) even had that policy for online purchase of the Aeiomed mask...return for refund if not happy. That was for a short time, though.
