Kid, the only appointment that
can't be canceled is the final one - the one with the undertaker.

If you sleep some on your back, try sleeping exclusively on sides and/or tummy tonight and see if you get any relief.

Will one of the Canadians tell him tonight how he can get that machine for a fraction of $2,500??

I gather you are in Canada. Where, In Canada, do you live?
I am in Ontario. Ontario has the Assistive Devices Program. This is a Provincial Government program that pays for 3/4 of the cost of the machine. I don't know if other Provinces have similar programs but you should check it out.
I bought a PR System One Auto from cpap.com for under $700, that's with shipping included. I won a backup machine - same one and brand new, on cpapauction.com for under $500 (including shipping). With a backup, I don't worry about the warranty. I also bought the software. There is a SD card in the machine and, with the software $99 at cpap.com, any memory card reader will read the card. People here on the forum can help you with setup and pressures. An auto, by the way, can also be used in straight cpap mode - 2 machines in one.
I have purchased a lot of masks on cpapauction.com - brand new at very good prices.
You need to be sure everyone ships via the Postal Service, if you buy online. There is no customs or duty cost because these are medical devices. It takes longer via the Postal Service but couriers will charge you a brokerage fee.
I'm glad to answer any questions you have but that's some info for now.
I'm not sure how helpful this information is to you know since it appears, from what you have said, that you are committed to buying this machine at that price -unless you are in Ontario.
If you are in Ontario, I don't understand why your Provider has not told you about the Assistive Devices Program. If you get that, then this System One auto machine will not cost you much at all from this Provider.

Well, did you borrow $2500 and throw it at that sleep clinic?

Learn how to adjust your pressures.
The pressures established by your physician are a good starting point but unless you have some special medical condition you can vary the pressure considerably without any long term harm.
What is important is the quality of your sleep as you perceive it. Try making changes to your pressure and see if there is an improvement. If there is no improvement go back to your prescribed pressure.

if you are in canada, I am willing to help to get your auto CPAP PR system one at less than $500 new.
However you must send me a PM. I cannot send you a PM, cause you never sign in.
