Yes, the numbers indicate the event duration in seconds.

If the mask was a good fit, why would I be having all those obstructions? Doesn't make sense to me.

The ideal goal of xPAP therapy is to eliminate apnea events. The realistic goal is to reduce them to the minimum possible. The 'official' goal of most sleep doctors, as I know it, it to reduce AHI to less than 5, the formal threshold for what is 'normal'. As you read more and more here in the forum you'll find that almost no one reaches zero AHI on a sustained basis, maybe for a night or two or a few more, but not for weeks at a time.

The approach is to get leaks under control first, which it looks like you have done, then start tweaking pressure settings. This takes time as there is enough variability from night to night to make it virtually impossible to assess the impact of a change in less than a week or so.

Stick with what you have for right now and monitor the results. Then come back in a week with some graphs and you'll receive some good recommendations as to what changes to consider. But, a question, what's your relationship with your sleep doctor? Will he care if you tweak your settings, or get upset? Or does he even care what is happening to you? Most folks here who make changes do so either with their doctor's blessing or acquiescence, or because there is a real disconnect between them and the doc. If your doc is controlling your therapy with an iron fist, well, you have our sympathy.
