I've been on APAP since February. There have been sporadic times where I've felt SLIGHTLY better, but for the most part, I feel no different - especially the last month.
I have the software to read the card, so I check my report every morning. I wear a full face mask and have gotten the large leaks completely eliminated (been that way for about a month) and my AHI is anywhere from 0.9 - 2.5 over the past month. My min/max pressure settings are set pretty well I think (the pressure throughout the night is always comfortably within this range, never "pegged out"). Right now it's set to 8-18. My average pressure is about 11. Also, I'm usually able to get about 7 hours of sleep per night.
So, after all this effort and time, I feel 0% better than when I started. The past month (once I got the leaks under control), I'm constantly hungry (may or may not be related at all), I'm falling asleep at my desk around 2-3pm and usually fall asleep for 30-60 minutes once I get home at 5. And when I wake up in the mornings, I feel terribly bloated and gassy. This usually dissipates by about 10-11am, but it's really uncomfortable until then.
Any thoughts?

You must have transpanted a bit, spent may years in TX myself
anyway it sounds as if you have been swallowing a bit or air. Your min and max pressures seem awfly far apart you may want to narrow the spread a bit putting 11 closer to the middle maybe something like 9-13 just a suggestion. as for the tired ness hoping one of the other will have some insite

Re: Still tired after all this time...
I used to have it from 8-12. Then I would see, on a random night, I would spend a lot of the night pegged at 12 (like it needed to go higher but couldn't). So, I upped it to 15. Same thing, so now I'm at 18.
Re: Still tired after all this time...
What were you titrated at? What's your detailed data look like? Can you buy/borrow a recording oximeter and see what your overnight O2 levels look like for a few nights?

Re: Still tired after all this time...
Sounds like you've made good progress on your treatment, just not getting results. About increasing your top number because of bumping up against it, was that mostly before you resolved the leaks? Maybe your pressure increases were due to leaks. It would be interesting to see how you would do with no leak issues and raising the bottom number a bit. Also, you might want to give a fixed pressure a try for a while and see how you do.
Are you on any meds that can cause you to feel tired or sleepy? Has your doctor ran any screening tests to look for other causes? Is there anyone who observes your sleep that can tell you if you seem to sleep peacefully or if you move around a lot? Sorry to hammer you with questions. Just looking for clues.
