I hope this is a reminder to any others who think it's OK to nap without their cpap.
Thank you for the reminder. I'm guilty of dozing on the couch, sitting up, while watching tv. Before cpap, I would take naps, laying down, would wake up aware that I could not take a breath...and momentarily struggle to breath, horrible feeling. I'm not a snorer (according to my husband), never have been.
Dorie...your input is valuable on this forum.
To breathe or not to breathe.......

Yes, you are correct. Joan was the Mother. It has been a long time since I have seen that movie.
That's the issue. I was talking about the book.

Did your mask come off in the middle of the night or something?

Gotta figure out how to make this mask work in the chair. I don't like this change, but I do like being a part of a group of people who "keep it real" and force me to take my head out of the sand. Thanks all.
K, Yes, for awhile there I thought Mike had somehow trained himself to keep his mouth closed which causes his apneas, because the few times he dozed off without his mask, when I would check all was peaceful, so we got a little lazy about putting it on and frankly I wasn't feeling like peeking in every minute! Yes again, the mask needs much more careful adjustment in the recliner, I don't know why. Lying down in bed at night the mask goes on with very minimal adjustment.

I have only accidentally fallen asleep twice without my machine. Once was yesterday at work, I suppose "Toy Story" isn't that interesting to me. Luckily 5 year olds are not known for their quiet feet, and I woke up when one of them kicked me in the head! Ouch!
