Almost 20 years ago. Or is it more than 20 years ago? I dunno. I lost the first sleep study a few years back, so I don't know the exact date. I probably felt I didn't need it anymore. But I've been using CPAP/BiPAP/ASV ever since.

WOW JBF thats a long road, that all us new to CPAP will be going down I can only imagine how things will change in the next 20 years for me as I am sure they have for you.

I have been on the hose since may 27th. And it was not untill the 7th of June that I found my perfect combo of items to get my numbers below 5 nightly and sleep well.

I really feel that this has saved my life. I had one doctor that I really didn't think very much of. But the first time I went to him he contacted my Family Doctor and they both referred me for a Sleep Study. He may have been an Adam Henry. In phonetic terms. But he was right on that I had severe OSA. And that was after seeing him twice.
So I do not know if I owe life to him but I can probably say that he helped save it.

I've been on CPAP almost 4 months. The exhaustion and brain fog are better, but not enough better. (Or maybe I just don't remember how bad it was.) I'm beginning to think I felt better the first month before I had data and the ability to control my therapy. I went back to straight CPAP at 6 (my titrated pressure) last night. Even though I slept less hours, I feel a lot less tired today. I plan to ask for help from the forum in a few days when I get my Sleep Study and a few more ResScan Reports posted to my album.

I fear I can't claim 100% compliance. 99.99% perhaps. Unfortunately, I sometimes still fall asleep on the sofa. When I do, I awaken a few hours later with the mother of all headaches. Ow! Ouch! Oh! It hurts! ... For some reason it's then very easy to decide to put on my mask and get better sleep for the rest of the night!

7 1/2 years, my wife recently joined me as a hose head.

My machine just died after 14,400 hours and 4 1/2 years
