Re: A Leakfree Alternative to Taping.........
After reading this thread, I picked up a "boil & bite" mouth guard at Wal-Mart. Before using it my leak rate ran about 6-8 L/min each night. After using the mouth guard now for the past several nights, my leak rate is running 1.5-2.5 L/min (95th percentile) and my AHI is 0-.3 . The little puffs of air out the side of my mouth have almost stopped completely. My pressure is 8 cm which may make a difference too.

You jogged my memory too....I have a mouthguard for whenever my tmj starts to kick in and hurt. But I will definitely go to Walmart because those might be softer than mine. Wouldn't that be nice if it works. Taping freaks me out.

There is a hybrid mask that combines nasal pillows and a boil and bite mouth piece. It's called a CPAPPRO™ Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/CPAP-P ... -mask.html
I bought it but I haven't tried it yet. I'm used to wearing a dental night guard. It's nasal pillows that I haven't had much luck with.

I have fibromyalgia in addition to OSA. I take Lunesta at bedtime.
