BiPaP Masks
New BiPaP user - wondering if anyone uses hybrid mask; my pressures are 15/10 and can't deal with pain on the bridge of my nose.
Re: BiPaP Masks
I can't use a nose mask either. I am at 19/15 and I love the swift LT nasal but too much mouth leaking. Tried a few chin straps but still leaks (the leaks wake me up so I sleep poorly). Been taping for the last week and that helps to stop the leaks but I still need the chin strap otherwise my cheeks blowup and the tape leaks. I have not seen any data but I would think that people at high pressures must suffer from moth leaks.
I ordered the InnoMed Hybrid tonight so I'll let you know in a week or so.

Re: BiPaP Masks
I use the Mirage Liberty successfully. After a string of bad nights with it, I ordered the Hybrid but haven't actually used it for a night yet. Cause after the string of bad nights, things got good again and I don't want to mess that up. I also am not too sure about the chin flap on it.

I had a similar problem with a full face mask--the air blowing near my eyes drove me batty. I used a hybrid for a while, and it worked out OK. However, after one night with a Swift LT, I'll never go back to a nasal or full face mask. If you have issues with mouth leaks, and don't want to do a chin strap or mouth taping, then a hybrid might be your best option.

Re: BiPaP Masks
I've used a Hybrid for years now with my Bipap.
