I use a Mirage Quattro mask that leaves marks (2 big ones) on my forehead every night. I have tried a thin headband, bandaids, lightening the headgear (causes leaks) and nothing seems to stop the marks. I looked at moleskin tape but it doesn't stick to the skin - just to itself. I saw other folks recommending cutting the moleskin for your nose protection and that it can be reused for about a week but that seems like an expensive solution. Does anyone know of a better solution with possibly another type of tape that I can actually get off my forehead without causing a bigger mark?
I saw references to 3M micropore tape and Pad A Cheek on another site but don't know anything about them yet. Thanks.
Forehead Marks
Re: Forehead Marks
Hi JimmyD
Many years ago men used to polish their shoes, and used a special soft cloth to do this. These cloths are still available in some Supermarkets in the shoe area. Cutting out an area to cover where the marks are might do the job for you.
I suggest doubling the cloth over.
3M micropore tape is for keeping your mouth closed. Pad-a-Cheek might be a solution. I believe many people on the Forum use it.
cheers

Re: Forehead Marks
I had this one night and found that I was wearing my lower headgear straps too loose and my upper ones too tight. The way I adjust the headgear now is to adjust the straps at full pressure with the forehead dial fully extended until the mask is leaking just a bit near my eyes. Lie down and the turn the dial until the eye leaks stop. Too tight and you get a sore nose. No more trouble with the red marks though. Of course I've only been at this a week so YMMV...in fact my milage will likely vary! Good luck!
