Yes, I know this is a resurrected thread. But I hadn't seen it before - and my first thought was...

Hmm. Chin strap for the eyes.. Pirate eye patch? Arrrrrrrrr, mateys!

My original post got deleted, although someone read it and referred to me by name (bigpaulo)...

Long story short, just started on APAP last Saturday, and at least 3 times now, I can feel air bubbling under my right eyelid, and escaping from the inside corner of my eye. And one night I even felt a very slight stream of air coming out of my left ear... maybe I do have a perforated ear drum and messed up eustachian tubes (I blew out my right ear drum this spring while blowing my nose vigorously).

It seems I need a tube of caulk to plug up my leaks when I use my APAP... as long as it doesn't cause any further problems, I've been able to sleep through it just fine.

An aside... rubbing my eyes has always given the coolest (sickest?) squishing sound effect... it skeeves out my wife to no end, and it feels like air is trapped between my eyeball and eye socket. Just the way I was made!

Handgunner,

(like me many times) you have been caught responding to a 2004 thread that has been spammed back into activity.

Cheers

Sorry DSM I responded to a post by bigpaulo that was subsequently deleted by someone as spam

I never saw the post earlier either. When this happened to me the first time, I thought that it surely must be my imagination. The second and third times, I thought it can't really be what it feels like, but I just don't know what it really is. Now I know!! It was what it felt like all along. The things we do learn on here. And most are really good to know. Thanks Titrator, even if it is an old post.
