avoid hot water for cleaning

Post by harry33 » Wed Jun 09, 2010 12:10 am

dont soak mask, headgear or airhose in hot water as the plastic may be harmed, also sometimes plastic clips, used to hold it all together can soften, making it difficult to figure out how it all goes back together

I soak my mask, with headgear and airhose attached in warm water with some mild dishwashing detergent, suck the water into the airhose and leave a while, then rinse with warm clear water, I cant see any need to take it all apart when cleaning it

remember that new masks, etc must be washed this way before use as they often contain starch or size on the headgear, and release agent plus silicone residue on the mask
