Cpap therapy will not "cure" any type of arthritis, as I said, but it will help you to get more restorative sleep and then, coping with and managing the arthritis is easier.
It can take a while to get full benefit from cpap and everyone is different as to how long that takes.
It sounds like you are making progress with the cpap therapy and are able to begin dealing with your other issues better.
It's good that you are preparing for your visit with the Rheumatologist. I always write down any questions I have, with the most important ones first and take that paper with me. Have a big enough piece of paper so that you can make notes as the appointment proceeds. It's hard to remember everything a doctor says.
