I just got my S9 with humidifier and heated tubing today. Went looking to see if I could find any software that could read the SD card that was in my machine and VOILA! I found you folks. Is there any way that I could get a link to the ResScan 3.11 software? It would be greatly appreciated.

Time to kick back with a margarita and my S9 manual.

I have been using S9 for 2 weeks. I just learned this forum full of so many helpful information. This thread is great. I just don't know how to read the SD card without a proper software. Can some one help me how to get a copy of ResScan so I can check the data on the SD? I appreciate it.

Uncle Bob, thanks for all the help you are offering out here. You and many others out here have helped me so much since I got my S-9 auto. I had an escape for nearly 5 years and had been backsliding/not complying/not sleeping....I realize it only takes seconds to pm someone the link, but by doing so, you are helping hundreds of people adjust and be more compliant with the access to their data. You are helping not just the papper, but the papper's partner too! Thanks, Uncle Bob. john

Just noticed ResScan 3.11 on Pirate Bay. It needs seeders.

I'm totally shocked and almost speechless (DH says that's IMPOSSIBLE in my case ), that it's taboo to access our XPAP stats because that's only for our medical team!

No wonder the neurologist was reluctant to answer my myriad questions or tell me any more about my OSA than she had to.

How are we supposed to keep an eye on what's going on with us on a day to day basis? OK.. I'm a complete newbie and don't know what the heck most of the terms mean, but I'm determined to learn as much as possible.

Not being 'allowed' to view my stats is, IMHO, the same as not being allowed to use a blood glucose meter to monitor my levels in order to adjust carb intake and exercise.

I just don't get it. I DO get that we shouldn't take it upon ourselves to change some of the settings without consulting the medical person caring for us, but to not be allowed to learn from the stats is just right out of the dark ages.

Someone... please tell me I'm thinking this all wrong!!

First post here, but been reading/learning as much as i can.

My name is Jon, 63 yr old male from Perth in Western Australia.
My input to this thread are a couple of links relevant to the discussion.

Came across this http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/shoppin ... ftware.htm link to the resscan software for sale from supplier. $30 AUD.
Further research on the site gave me further http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/pop_faq ... 31309.html info
Q. I have an Res Med S9 Auto Set Elite and want to download the current and historical results onto my computer? (Posted: 1st Sept, 2010)
A. You need to either forward the sd card to us and we will download the data for you, or, get a copy of the ResScan software, and you can process the data yourself.
Guess it's like doctors, they all have different opinions, like who should read the data of a machine owned/purchased by you.
Thought it may be of interest to you guys & girls.

Thank you all for contributing to such an informative website.
Learning heaps for a newbie just starting out in the way of the cpap.

Jon

I looked, but couldn't find a summary of the changes between RS 3.11 and 3.12. Does anyone know? Only difference I see is that the flow limitation graph has been inverted. I can't tell what/if any other changes there have been.

Hi Slartybartfast, What an interesting name. Are you a designer of planets?

I could be wrong, but there is a sneak preview of an upcoming machine from ResMed if you look hard enough. I don't feel comfortable posting to the world, but if you want you can PM me and I can send you screenshots from ResScan that shows it. It looks to be some kind of "mega machine". I think that is why they released the new 3.12, to support the new machine.
