I've switched from BiPap to CPAP these past three nights. I'm pleasantly surprised to have NO apnea each night.
Last night:
FL .6
OA 0
H .2
VS 1.9
AHI .2
Average Leak 19
AVG Pressure 10
Equipment: Respironics M Series CPAP Auto
Mask: CPAP Pro
I'm wondering if my BiPAP's timing of adjusting from IPAP to EPAP is such that it doesn't fully stint the throat long enough.
i.e. Apnea begins ==> IPAP goes to 15 on Auto then backs down to 9 EPAP while throat is still partially closed/closed.
On the M Series BiPAP Auto, avg setting is 9 and 12, also my titrated settings.
AHI is low, less than .8 most nights on BIPAP but still get nasty Apnea.
