difference CPAP vs AutoCPAPA
Re: difference CPAP vs AutoCPAPA
CPAP machines are designed to run in a single pressure.
APAP machines may either be run in a range of pressures or a single pressure (CPAP mode).
APAPs are not necessarily "better", but they're more versatile due to the additional pressure range options.
Most people get better therapy with a single pressure but some get better therapy with a range of pressures. For some people, the changing pressures of an APAP pressure range has a tendency to disturb their sleep.

Re: difference CPAP vs AutoCPAPA
If you get an APAP (Auto CPAP), you can try a variety of pressures.....single or ranges to see what works best for you.
If you get a fully data-capable CPAP, you can still get good therapy by downloading your data and make adjustments if necessary.
If money is not an object (the price differences between them aren't that great), the general recommendation is to get an APAP and then you have the versatility to try ranges or single pressures.
