Why my ears are blocked after using cpap machine

Is there anybody who has the same drawback, the following day after using the cpap I cannot hear no nothing my ears are partially blocked, and I feel as if I had a bug in my head bzzzzzzzzzz by the way Im a newbie since three months tks

The effect is caused by the increased pressure in your head pushing through your Eustachian tube onto the back side of your ear drum. To clear it you need to hold your nose, close your mouth and swallow to lower the pressure on the back side to equal the outside pressure. Just like clearing your ears after taking off in an airplane.

If you have a nose-only interface, rather than full face which covers your mouth as well, you may find that drainage from your nose/sinus is not occurring. I suggest you check with your doctor, and include ear wax in that check.

(If you are prone to stuffy nose a nose-only interface is not going to work well, you’ll end up opening your mouth to breath better, but that may make nose stuffiness worse.)
