Craving sleep

Post by detcord » Wed May 19, 2010 8:27 am

New user, with just about one month on the machine. I started out great, sleeping through the night, and waking up with tons of energy. That has not changed, but recently I have started craving sleep, not because I have to, but because I want to. It's kind of a weird feeling for me. My readings have been good, and I feel good all day, but just cannot wait to "strap it on" and zone out at night. My sleep at night has been getting longer as well, from 5 1/2 to 6 hours at the beginning, to an easy 8 last night and being woke by the alarm clock. Maybe this is just what normal feels like.

Your body discovered our addiction to breathing while asleep.

Keepit up.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

The first time I experienced a bit of quality sleep, I described it as like a drug. It felt so good I'd have done nearly anything to feel that again and again. Having spent so many years desperately needing but dreading the misery of sleep, it sure was different to really want to sleep. Once your body recovers from all it went thru with untreated sleep apnea, you should find your sleep levels off to your new "normal".

Good for you!

I just had a follow-up visit with my sleep doc. Last visit was last July. Started xPAP last April. My stats showed I went from an average of just about 5 hours per night to almost 8 hours per night. Yeah--I think it is normal! I love being normal!
