CPAP machine for traveling

Post by maverick2777 » Fri May 14, 2010 2:10 am

Hi - I have 2 of Remstar Auto with C-Flex machines. Personally I think they are temperamental units, I have had issues with both. Lately I had an E47 code, at the time I was camping with 240v supply & did experience raining in the hose. I found a little moisture inside the outlet of the machine. I have dried it out but still experience the same fault code. It's not worth spending $400-$500 for a repair so I am going to buy another unit. I would like to continue using the same hose & mask, I am thinking about the Philips Respironics Remstar Pro with C-Flex & humidifier ($1000). Are these units more robust & smaller than the older units as I tend to do a bit camping & sometimes I will be using 12 VDC adaptor to plug into the car.
