He is age 41. Sorry, but my mind immediately jumps to the possibility that he has untreated sleep apnea.
He is front center in this photo and chin and jaw look weak. Do you think about things like this?
Hey, I have worked about 14 hours from my home office today phoning clients and composing emails. Tomorrow I need to go see two clients in person, so you guys get a reprieve from my musings.
Edit: Here is the link for the photo -

When I was in sunglasses were NOT allowed in formation - even photo-grays or prescription glasses. Didn't make much sense if you could see where you were going.

If that is a photo of him, I would agree with your assessment.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

His dad has a history of brain aneurysms. So it could be something hereditary like VHL, rather than sleep apnea.

I've noticed that when people have a certain condition/disease/illness, etc., they tend to think everyone else has it. I've done this myself.
I doubt that sleep apnea would have given him a stroke so young, especially since he looks so fit.

The first thought that crossed my mind was "what an out-of-shape group of rag-bags". I didn't get out of shape until I got out.

I think it is to early for us to make a decision on what caused Beau's stroke. We need to wait for all the so called experts to make all the rounds on all the morning talk shows. Then the talk shows will bring the experts with the most far fetched reasons together where they will debate the issue and finally come to a conclusion that it was caused by a presidental regime from the past. So bassically it was either Bill Clinton's fault if you are Republican and Bush's fault if you are a Democrat.

I think you have to take into consideration that the vast majority of the troops they're using over there are from the National Guard and Reserve.......many of them in their 40's and 50's......few of them being in the shape they were in in their late teens and early-mid 20's.

While that is true - the guard & reserve forces have to meet the same fitness standards and obey the same regulations, well supposedly anyway
unless you can get a waiver from a medical doctor. I was expected to run 3 miles even tho I was retiring the next month. Yea fat chance of that happening
Take Note - they appear to be officers
I have always said that health issues, like strokes and heart attacks, (while some may be hereditary), know NO boundaries and certainly have NO age requirements.

He looks fit? I see fat cheeks, neck and belly. Maybe not as fat as the average American in our fat society, but still with BMI of 30 or higher (obese) in my estimate. Compare him to the guy to his right is of a more fit weight - slim cheeks and flat tummy - I would estimate BMI around 25.
In the publicity photos on the web sites favorable to Beau, he looks slimmer. I would guess that the photo posted above captured him more realistically.

Let me make a preemptive strike before someone posts that BMI is a poor measure of fitness level.
I
agree that BMI is a poor measure of fitness level. It
understates obesity prevalence in our society.
DEXA scans are more accurate.
The researchers found that DEXA identified 56% of patients as obese while BMI identified 20% as such.
....
"This means that we may have more health problems, as individuals are delaying treatment because they don't think they're obese," he said. "They think they're thin and 'just a little flabby.'"

Rooster,
Are you talking about the guy in the front center of that photo? (the skinniest guy in the front) His name tag says "Biden" (about the only one you can read.)

You're losing it, chicken-man... There ISN'T anyone to his right! He's on the end...the tight-jawed fellow with the "Biden" nametag!
The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

After putting on my readers, I see the name tag and stand corrected. My description was referring to the chubby guy next to him.

That's who I thought at first as well. I was thinking front center of the formation, not front center of the picture. Biden (and the female-type behind him) look (from appearance anyway) to be the fittest of the bunch.
