Where can I get EncorePro (Ver 1.4 or higher) Software and the Smartcard Reader?

Encore ver. 1.4 ONLY works with very old machines. I suggest you read Den's post in this link and do some searching - Advanced Search can be found on the top of "each" forum page under the "Home" icon.

Are you sure your machine is a Pro 2?

What computer OS are you running? XP, Vista, Windows 7?

If you have XP or ME and really have a Pro 2, EP 1.4 will work.

You can also buy Encore Viewer which will give you the data off the card. You need a MAKO 3500 card reader too (again assuming that Pro 2 machine).

Recheck your CPAP and post the model number off the bottom of the machine and the name of the machine on the top (The Pro2 is red in the front left corner on my machine) for us. That will help clarify what machine and what software you need.

Thank you both for your replies!

I checked the machine: Model REMstar 2, Domestic
Model No. 1020923 Serial No. 4161807
On the front it reads: REMstar/ pro 2 (in red) c-flex

The Operating System is Microsoft XP

Any suggestions on where I can get the necessary software?

a lot of people got the software a few years ago - encore pro 1.5 when respironics left the "door open" - maybe someone has it that way

encore viewer can be purchased - google it - cpap.com has it available - this should work

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... eader.html

check with them to make sure the card reader is included as that price is lower than before

if you need a card reader separately they can be obtained too for around $50 plus shipping from an outfit in California last time I checked

I assume you have a card in the machine - btw the Pro 2 was a great machine - it is my backup as I have an APAP of same style - it is the "legacy" series if you need to know that - we call it the "tank" here

Mako DT3500 USB (Infineer)– $49.00 + $15 shipping = $64.00

Mako DT3500 SmartCard Reader USB - $54.00 – shipping unknown
