Is there a default setting for devilbis intellipap ?

Post by Guest » Sun May 09, 2010 2:06 am

I bought the set Devilbis Intellipap last month from State, (it doesn't sell in my country)
Doctor advise me use CPAP for my sleep apnea.
Just check is there a default setting for my device Devilbis intellipap? since my doctor (hospital) don't sell the device here.
Or is there some tips for me on how to set those figures on the device?
Thank you

Did your doctor tell you what pressure you need?
Did you buy an Intellipap AutoAdjust, or another model?

If you bought from a reliable online source, you should have instruction manuals in the box.

Usually using the machine at the setting it arrives with is not a good idea - it should be set to fit what you need.

Good luck

Hi Guest, why not sign up and register. It's free and nobody spams you!

What model of intellipap do you have. If it's the Autoadjust then the default setting will be 4-20 cm. If it's the plain Intellipap then I'm not sure what the default will be, but if you turn it on (while wearing your mask) the screen will show you what the pressure is.

Did you have a sleep test and a titration (that's where they put a mask on you and try different pressures while you sleep)? If so, what did they say your pressure should be?

To set the pressures on the machine
1. Start with machine off.
2. Press and hold "Down Arrow" and "Ramp" buttons.
3. Press on/off button. The fan will start blowing (unless you have the latest firmware)
4. The left and right buttons will take you through the various options.

If you can give us more information we should be able to help you more.
