Kathie, my apologies for hijacking your thread.
I had good intentions, but I'm a cranky old guy and I forget to read what I've typed.

I've been compliant for 10 years. However, for more than I year (looking back) I've had symptoms of OSA.

I'm delighted that I've had some help and I wanted to pass it on to you.

I'm a candidate for nasal pillows too. The light harness on the new ResMed mask is intriging (sp?) to me. I like the last generation because it worked better for me during a demonstration. That's because you can roll a "cylinder" with the nasal pillows attached to align with your nose. My nose has been abused with years of playing football.

I used a Breeze for 4 years (found it noisy, prone to leak, and fragile). When nasal pillows work they're great. And the new mask is much more solidly attached to my head. So it would be far better than the Breeze. I would love to have that mask, and bet you would too if it suits you.

Why didn't I buy? My Sleep Doc scares me. (literally) And he says, "keep it simple; use a nasal mask"

My comments about the cpap pillow--I find that the poofy pillow I used would "pull" the mask off my face. That's my old mask. My Breeze was terrible that way.

The cpap wipes? They do such a good job of cleaning the mask that I'm amazed. (Read here, if I have to work to clean a mask and hose, I probably don't do i often enough.)

Hope this helps
DaveL
