You will never believe this! Just last December, I was in desperate situation in my relationship to my CPAP.
After listening for months to postings that straight CPAP is a better option and that sleep specialists recommend straight CPAP, for the last 12 months I set my M series APAP in a straight mode of pressure 9. In the beginning this was fine but then for the last several months it was getting from bad to worst. Large leaks every day, very dry painful mouth. Yes, it took me months but I still try very hard to follow the straight and narrow straight lane of straight CPAP. I try all alternatives of taping my mouth. I tried all the headstrap, in fact I sepnt money buying all headstraps available in the market, at least 5 of them. None - none help even after trying for weeks and then months.
By early January this year I cannot stand this anymore. Read the news that PR just announced the new System One. However the price is still not right... While I waited for a new APAP mate, I reprogram my M series back as APAP 7-10. My dry mouth problem suddenly disappear and my sleep is less fragmented - less wakeup
By February I managed to get a PR System One & the dream mask: Swift FX for a good price and I sold my M series through Craiglist
After around 1 week i wrote the PR System One First Impression. I set this as APAP 6-9. My stats now are stable, AHI around 2.5, leaks: My 90% pressure is ONLY 8, most nights practically 0 leaks and practically no Large leaks ( only 1-2 a week, not daily, and for short time - less than 2 minutes)
The big success: no dry mouth, no chinstrap, no taping. I really must thank PR System One and Swift FX for their great role in my success!
PS: the surprising thing is that the price of PR System One is 50% of S9 (check CPAPauction bid price)
I am very puzzled is that the bid for M series is even higher than for PR System One.
This morning I checked that M series bid is $250 while for System is is only $200 in CPAPauction.com
any good reason why? Probably the crappy software?

Forgot to add:
Now I can sleep more than 8 hours without interruption - 0 wake up time. In the past my sleep were fragmented by around 3 hours period each. After around 3 hrs I wakeup, browse the web with my netbook for 1 hr+ and then sleep again or just wait for the morning sun. This has been going on for months
