Newbie been on cpap for about 3 months

Post by base2balls » Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:58 am

Hello every one. I'm new to this forum and I have been using cpap for about 3 months now. I use the Mirage Micro nasal mask which I love and my machine is the ResMed S8 Escape II. A basic machine, but it does help me a lot. I do sleep much better and no headaches when I get up in the mornings. Befor cpap I was getting up with headaches nearly every morning and I also have RLS and that is pretty bad case of it so I'm now on the generic of Mirapex and thank God they finally got a generic of he medicine. I doesn't cost me much and Medicare Part D covers it. So I'm a happy camper now. Well just wanted to stop in and say hello and have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Dear Fay,

Hi. Welcome the the forum. I started on cpap on Jan 8 and am feeling much more rested now! When you have a chance maybe you can click on the "User Control Panel" in the upper left hand corner and fill out your profile, and especially your equipment info. That way in the future, if you need help we can immediately see all the equipment you are using.

Wishing you peaceful, restorative sleep,

Jersey Girl

Congrats Fay and welcome to the forum! Man, those headaches, I had nearly forgotten about those, they used to be at their worst in the morning when you would wake up. Sounds like you're getting some good therapy on the S8 machine!

Thanks
Dave

Welcome, Fay! Glad you are having super results! That's good news. Down the road you might want to trade in that Escape and get a data capable machine...could be useful. TTFN
