gurgling noise

Post by Ann M » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:36 am

Good morning,

I had a bad nights sleep again last night, so I am wondering if anyone else is suffering with the same problem. After using my machine for a few hours it starts to making a gurgling sound when I inhale. It is very hard to sleep with this happening it also lightly sprays a mist on my arm.
If you are having this same problem i would love to know what you do or how you deal with it.

Thank you for reading Ann

Sounds as if you are having rain out. This will happen to me if I put too much water in my humidifier, the gurgling sound anyway. What is your humidifier set at? You can try turning this down. Also where is your c-pap machine setting. Most of us have it lower than the bed. I set mine on the floor and this works for me. Placement of the hose also helps some people, such as routing it over the headboard of your bed allows the moisture to drain back down the hose. Allot of people purchase or make hose covers and you can also buy heated hose covers to prevent or reduce the rain out. Good Luck.
