and there is also priceusa.com.au - a lot of whirpool forum people use them to get stuff.
She can do cpap, express post $77 (may be a small fee as well I think).
I agree. The USPS cost would be around 66-76 depending on weight.

Good to see we can get such good deals.

Greetings...... I found you all via Google while looking for CPAP info .
I am pondering whether to buy the S9 5I Elite or Autoset. What I have been reading on the forum is very interesting and helpful.
Diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea a couple of months ago and have been trialing before buying.
It is kind of "comforting" to read so many posts that indicate that "we are not alone" .... in a kind of way ... feels like I have joined the "Club". '
The treatment is doing good , but of course am still trying to settle down with this "gear".
Say..... Scotto ..... if you read this ..... I have just had an MRI brain scan and told I have "microvascular ischaemic changes" that MAY possibly be the result of years of undiagnosed Apnea . So I as well would be interested in your Wife's studies .
Seeing as I have reached my three score years and 10 ... some is said to be age related anyway.
Looks like it's about time I went and strapped my self into the "gear" and catch some zzzzeds .
cheers all .

Gee whiz Max ... this is the second time I tried to answer ... the first somehow disappeared into cyber space so here I am trying again .... ( had a mate who used to always say I was very trying ...LOL) ..... anyway ......
Thanks for your reply and info .... thanks to this great Forum that Mr Google found for me , I have found much info and the articles up front of the forum were so good ... I can say I can see the wisdom of paying the extra and getting the AutoSet.
Very interesting about the Didgeridoo ... again according to Google plenty available on line !
I don't mind the sound of that ..... mate this could be the beginning of a new era in more ways than one by golly !!!
By the way ... my tritation... I see we call it.... is 9 ( I have been referring to it a 9 on the Richter Scale )
Take care
cheers !

You're mixing up the technical terminology - that is someone close referring to your snoring

G'day DSM
Will have them post free to Shipto.com who will onforward for around $65, with Customs etc attended to. Have today had it confirmed that Secondwind will pay the postage US to OZ for warranty matters, so just need to get it to them if there is a warranty issue.

Ahhhh kenD ! ...... I have been sprung then .... 'cause if it wasn't.... then it could not be so .... mate I see we went to different schools together LOL

Do you all use distilled water in the humidifier ??
I do ..( as I was told to) ( I get into less trouble if I do what I'm told!) ....... I source it easy through the Clinic I'm dealing with .... but was suprised that all shops, motor places , Chemists etc etc .... all only sell De-mineralised water .... which of course is filtered rather that the product of boiling off .
I've had a couple of people tell me they just use tap water ....
What say you Ladies and Genteeeeel men of the Jury ???
Cheers .

Ken

That is a very good discovery ! - I hadn't heard of shipto.com before but what a great service !!! esp when so many US domestic deliveries can be got for free.

I looked into http://www.shipto.com & when following their links ended up here ...
http://www.discountfreight.com.au/quote ... bwodXg4MoA

Which is an Oz company. Have you signed up with them ? - was wondering how tyou supply a US domestic address for the parcel to be sent to ?

This info could be a big cost saver to many of us here.

DSM

PS just found this link that explains it - cheers ...

They are good when there are no shipping hassles, but in my experience may be VERY VERY problematic when there is shipping damage.

The seller has satisfied their obligations as soon as teh goods are delivered to the US convenience address, so your only recourse after that is with the freight forwarder.

This is not in anyway the same thing as as shipping via a trusted friend/collegue etc!

Cheers,

Bill

Bill

Trusting say cpap.com to pack the item well for shipping in the US would suffice for me (having had parcels from them).

I doubt they would pack the item any differently plus if you go to BonVu's site, they will offer additional insurance should you want it and I am willing to bet it will be well under 100% of the typical USPS prices which is how much one saves by not going through UPS.
