Had a follow up with the good sleep doc today

Post by JeffH » Mon Apr 12, 2010 9:30 pm

And all went well. He said since I had lost around 40 lbs since my original sleep I could probably drop the pressure some. He left it up to me to decide what to do. He knows I know how to change pressure and he's OK with it.

We talked about using melatonin and he warned that they think there might be some problems with long term use, but was honest enough to say that it hasn't be proven yet. Said he uses it when he has jet lag (he is not from this country so he travels over seas to see his family).

I took him a weeks worth of Encore Pro reports and he looked them over and asked if he could keep them. Said he was done seeing me unless I needed something and then just call for an appointment. I like this guy.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Always good to hear a good report. Glad you are doing well.

Babette, what a difference from your old avatar! To all the newer hoseheads out there who remember Babette's diva style avatar, before you ask - the changes in her appearance are unrelated to her CPAP treatment!
